Playing Games

Zach:  Let’s get started!

Jake: I’m going to win this game before anything else!                     (Bring up bookworm)

Zach: I really think we should get started so we can get a good grade because we got a D- on our Martin Luther king junior report. We really should do the research on Barack Obama and John McCain.

Jake: Come on I only need like 5 or 10 minutes to beat the high score.

Zach:  Ok I guess…   But Mr. Snow is coming

Mr. Snow: How are boys doing because between you guys you got a D- on your Martin Luther king junior report.

Jake: But that was a great report!

Zach:  At least I’m doing my report so I can get a good grade and not playing gam…. I mean we are doing great on our report.

Mr. Snow: So why is’nt Jake helping.

Zach:  I mean Jake is helping but he is not doing as much.

Mr. Snow: Well then Jake should do more work.

Jake: O.K.    I’ll help some more… by getting the high score on the internet.

Mr. Snow: Can I see your work.

Zach:   pssssst now you are going to get it.

Jake: O.K.  Here it is.                                                                 (where the candidates stand doc.)

Mr. Snow: Good job well get back to work.

Zach:  Mr. Snow is gone continue.

Jake: O.K. I guess I can finish the game and get the high score.

Zach: You will never guess who is behind you.

Jake: Mr. Snow.

Zach: Yes.

Mr. Snow: You got anything to say for yourself young man?

Jake: Yes I am sorry I did not do my work.

Mr. Snow: It is Ok.

Jake: I promise I won’t play games during work time ever again.   (exit out of bookworm)

Zach: And if you try to play a game during work time I will remind you.

Robert Frost

Robert Frost (1941)
Born Robert Lee Frost
March 26, 1874(1874-03-26)
San Francisco, California, USA
Died January 29, 1963 (aged 88)
Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Occupation Poet, playwright

Robert Frost was born in San Francisco, California to journalist, William Prescott Frost, Jr. and Isabelle Moodie.[1] His mother, was of Scottish descent, and his father, a descendant of colonist Nicholas Frost from Tiverton, Devon, England who had sailed to New Hampshire in 1634 on the Wolfrana.[citation needed]Frost’s father was a teacher and later an editor of the San Francisco Evening Bulletin (later merged into the San Francisco Examiner), and an unsuccessful candidate for the city tax collector. After his father’s death in May 5, 1885, in due time the family moved across-country to Lawrence, Massachusetts under the patronage of (Robert’s grandfather) William Frost, Sr., who was an overseer at a New England mill. Frost graduated from Lawrence High School in 1892.[2] Frost’s mother joined the Swedenborgian church and had him baptized in it, but he left it as an adult.Despite his later association with rural life, Frost grew up in the city, and published his first poem in his high school’s magazine. He attended Dartmouth College long enough to be accepted into the Theta Delta Chi fraternity. Frost returned home to teach and to work at various jobs including delivering newspapers and factory labor. He did not enjoy these jobs at all, feeling his true calling as a poet.
